Frequently Asked Questions

General

In order to create an account and start using Ringzz, you need to go through the registration/login process. On app start, if you don’t have a Ringzz account you should choose the “Sign up” option where you will need to fill up fields with your personal information: You will need to provide your phone number and protect your account with a password which you will later use for login into your account. We will also need a username for your account. That name will be presented to the users if you're not registered as the contact on their phone. By tapping “SIGN UP” you will be asked to confirm your phone number and then redirected to the code verification screen. If the phone number is entered correctly you will receive an SMS with a verification code that you need to enter in the text field. Tap on the “Verify” button will check entered verification code. If entered code is valid registration process will be done and you will be granted access to the app and all its features.

iOS

In order to have all the latest features and fixes in your app, you should keep your app up to date. You can easily update Ringzz from your App Store by visiting it. Go to the App Store and search for Ringzz. Tap Update next to the app name.
In order to start communication with any of your contacts, you need to tap on the plus button in the top right corner of the screen on the “Chats” tab. The presented controller will list your contacts (if you grant permission to the app to use them) that are using Ringzz already. Tap on them will open up a chat window where you can send them text messages, make a video call, audio calls or send them photos, gifs, audio messages, etc. By tapping on the text field at the bottom of the screen keyboard will be presented and you will be able to type the text that you can send to your contact. The microphone icon on the left of the screen will be changed to sending text message mode as soon as you type in the first characters of the message. Tap on the icon that will send a text message to your contact.
In order to set your image to your profile, you will have to go to the “My Ringzz” tab and by tapping on the action in the top right corner of the screen, you will be presented with the screen where you can choose to take a picture or select one from your Phone gallery. After you are done with the picture selection you will be presented with the screen where you can edit it and confirm it. If your network connection is active your picture will be changed and all your contacts will receive it.
In order to change your status, you will have to go to the “My Ringzz” tab and by tapping on the action in the top right corner of the screen you will have to choose the “Change Status” option, and screen for the status update will be presented. You can choose one of the existing statuses or type in yours and tap on “Save”.

Android
